This year’s festival runs from Wednesday 25th October to Friday 28th October.

Wednesday 25th October

  • 5pm – Sense of Unity will be setting off from the Tower Festival Headland in front of the Blackpool Tower.  You’ll be able to follow the performers on a parade through the streets of the town!
  • 6:15pm – Watch the finale as Afishal brings the evening to life.  He will be performing on the Tower Headland with the Tower as his backdrop!

Thursday 26th October

  • 5pm – Carnival Of Lights – This is the night where the illuminated heritage trams will be making their procession along the promenade.  The convoy sets off from the Pleasure Beach and heads towards Bispham and will be then returning to the Pleasure Beach.
  • 6:15pm – You’ll have another opportunity to see Afishal do his thing with his stunning illuminated drum kit on the Tower Headland.

Friday 27th October

  • 5pm – The drummers from Worldbeaters will be gathering on the Tower Headland.  From there, the audience will be guided by the band through the town and to St John’s Square opposite the Winter Gardens.  Bilbobasso will perform ‘Amor’ in St John’s Square once the crowd has assembled.  At the end of the performance by Bilbobasso, the audience will be lead back to the Tower Headland once again to enjoy a spectacular finale from Afishal

At the end of all the shows, you will be able to see the LightPool 3D projection on the front of the Blackpool Tower building.  This is a stunning and high tech display that is really enjoyable to watch.

The whole of the LightPool Festival is FREE and it is also very family friendly.

For all shows on the Tower Headland, you’re advised to head for the Comedy Carpet as this will be the best place to view the acts.
