A White BMW has mounted the kerb and become involved in a collision with the concrete barrier at the tram station opposite cavendish road in bispham and has come to rest on the tram tracks.
A Man was arrested at the scene.
Trams were initially reported to still be running in either direction but not passing this point but other sources now claim the trams have ceased their service for the time being.
It’s still not clear if anyone was injured in this incident which appears to be an accident on face value.
