Poulton Library, funded by Lancashire County council, has suffered a short closure. It was suddenly closed a few weeks ago due to structural damage. Quite often, we see council funded establishments such as this being closed for lengthy periods during to funding cuts causing a loss to the community of a valuable resource.
We are pleased to report however that Lancashire County Council have confirmed that Poulton Library is set to reopen on Tuesday December 4th.
It’s great to see that the library will be reopening so soon so that normality can return for those in the community who use the library often. With activities on throughout the week for everyone from babies to the elderly, this is a great little library.
