Tram Service suspended due to weather

Fierce gusts of wind are currently battering the fylde coast with weather warnings issued across the north west for wind and rain.

As a result – Blackpool transport have terminated tram services for the time being. Should weather improve later on they may look at re-starting services again today.

Information from Blackpool airport’s weather station reports a temperature of 9 with rain and gusting winds up to 18Km/H With conditions expected to remain the same through the night.

Yellow Weather Warnings
