South Africa Claims Title Of Fireworks Champion

Since early September, the Fireworks Championships have been hosted every Friday in Blackpool, as they are annually and last Friday was the finale where the overall Fireworks Champion country was declared.

This year’s finale was managed by award winning UK based pyrotechnics team Titanium who put together an amazing show which was perfect for closing the season’s fireworks displays.

Fireworks are set off along North Pier

Every year, thousands of people turn up every Friday for the event and it has proven to be a really popular occasion for families.  The Fireworks are launched from Blackpool’s North Pier, and with plenty of viewing space on the promenade with a clear view of the fireworks as they light up the sky over the sea, it really is a spectacular sight.

Without exception, all the teams did really well this year.  We saw fireworks displays from South Africa, Poland, and France, but ultimately, it was South Africa who took the title this year of Fireworks Champion.

he BPL Bible congratulates South Africa for claiming the victorious title, but also commends the other countries that took part as all the displays were amazing.

We can’t wait for next year’s displays!
