Last year we reported on the Condor Grove Charity Christmas lights put on by the Thomas Family in Blackpool.
You may remember Dean for his mini cocoa cola truck featured in our video about their lights last year
(please subscribe if you’ve not done already)
They’ve already put big light on…
This year they are BACK bigger and better than ever and this year’s chosen good cause is The Space Centre in Preston.
SPACE is the largest multi-sensory environment in the U.K. for anyone with special needs.
They have over 230 groups visiting a month, including special schools, respite care homes, family bookings, play-schemes, parent support groups, after school clubs and also day centres and community homes who cater for young people and adults with physical and learning disabilities. SPACE can cater for people with a wide range of disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Profound Multiple Disabilities, Autism and brain injuries. Groups come from all over the north west and sometimes even further afield, which demonstrates the need for such a facility and illustrates the fact that there are no other centres like SPACE.
They are hoping to raise as much money as possible both online and from donations at their home.
People are welcome to visit them each evening up until Christmas.

Myself, my wife and young family
live on Condor Grove in Blackpool. Every year, we decorate the outside of our house in Christmas lights and decorations for people to enjoy in the hope that we can raise money for a worthwhile charity. This year we are raising money for ‘The Space Centre’ based in Preston which provides a safe environment for children with disabilities to play.
Please support me with this amazing charity! We love seeing the smiles on children’s faces when they come to see the lights and I hope you can come and visit us at 72 Condor Grove, Blackpool FY1 5LT. The big switch on will be Saturday 12th November at 5pm and the lights will be showing on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday night until Christmas.
Please support us to raise our target of £2,000 for the Space Centre!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
