There have been multiple reports now all over social media about young people causing trouble in the Cleveleys area. Unfortunately, a small number of youngsters are causing problems for people who live in the area. Today, the police have issued a statement that they will be implementing a Section 34 Dispersal Order.
Taken from the Thornton Cleveleys and Poulton Police’s Facebook page:
“The Police have been made aware of last night’s events around Cleveleys and we are appalled by the actions of some of the youths frequenting this area and damaging people’s property and causing ASB. This has led to the Police implementing a Dispersal Order within a particular area of Cleveleys. Patrols will be increased and positive action taken against anyone causing ASB.Therefore this is a plea to the Parents and Youths involved..do you know where your children are tonight?? Please stay indoors and if you are going out, BEHAVE. Arrests will be made if neccessary!
From 5pm today till 5pm on Sunday a Section 34 Dispersal Order will be in place with the boundaries starting at the Jubilee pub, including the prom to Kingsway. North along Rossall road where it meets the junction of Thornton gate, Cleveleys. The map attached highlights the area enforced inside the red line. Thank you!”
