If you have kids aged between 0 and 5 years old, you might like to know that your local Children’s Centre offers some great programs all year around. You will be able to do practical things such as getting your babies/toddlers weighed and even take courses such as parenting courses and first aid. But there is also plenty to keep the kids entertained indoors which is perfect for the colder February weather.
You can talk with a member of staff to get some advice about things like health, parenting, family support and even disability support for children. Childrens centres also offer breastfeeding advice for new mums and you can even access things like training to advance your career. For the little ones, there are play session, toddler groups, messy play and special activities throughout the year.
