Blackpool’s RNLI volunteers will be hosting an open day at their Blackpool HQ on Sunday 28th of August. It starts at 10AM and finishes at 5PM
The open day is a vital fundraising event for the charity who rely solely on donations from the public to keep their life saving equipment in top condition.
Visitors will get a chance to meet the Crews and look around all the equipment that’s used in their life saving duties. Entertainment is being put on to entertain children (including a magic show) and there will be a BBQ and refreshments available too.
Also attending will be the local emergency services from around the Blackpool area.

- St Johns Ambulance
There will be a lifesaving demonstration by the Lytham St. Annes Shannon class lifeboat at 12 noon but the open day starts at 10AM going on until 5PM
SANDCASTLE COMPETITION
Lots of activities, competitions and family fun for all ages including a Sandcastle competition. Starting at 15:30pm ( no booking required ).
Prize: Sandcastle water park Family Pass worth up to £60.
