The Stanley Park Bandstand is the place to be on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer months. Each week, local bands play to a huge audience, enjoying the music and sunshine here in Blackpool.
Right beside the lake, the bandstand is a picturesque landmark in the park. Surrounded by a large seating area in the form of staggered stone steps, the bandstand becomes the stage for the various acts booked to perform at the park.
This weekend, Sunday 20th May sees the first bands return for the 2018 season. Starting from 1pm and finishing around 4pm, you will be able to see local ska band Ska Face supported by the FlashHearts and the incredible Dancing Man.
Ska Face is one of the town’s most popular bands. They frequently fill the venues that they perform in and their memorable covers of popular ska bands including The Specials and Madness will be sure to have you up on your feet or singing along.
Bring your friends, bring your parents, bring the kids, bring the dog. You’ll have a blast!
Entry to the park is free, as is the concert. Bring a few quid for ice creams!
