At around 12:20 today a fire broke out on the sand dunes between Blackpool and St. Annes.
A video was sent to us By Alpha Car Collections who happened to be passing just after the fire had taken hold.
3 Fire engines from Blackpool and St. Annes attended the scene which was quickly brought under control by firefighters.
Pictures provided by Stephen Cheatley Photography show Lancs fire and rescue services dealing with the patch of land that had caught fire.
There are not thought to be any casualties resulting from this incident.
